Description: Appears to be of Northeastern Mississipian origin due to the construction but I do not have more information. Likely antique, the basket is woven of splint Ash wood. If anyone is more familiar please feel free to let me know the tribe. It is well made and quite sturdy. Basket has a small hole on bottom and small break on lid but otherwise in good shape.
