Description: This listing is for two vintage, or possibly antique, Munising bowls that are slightly off round. These were probably among the earlier produced bowls/dough bowls. They have no sealer or finish and no painting on them. They are natural wood that has seen much wear. Both have a Munising brand on them. One bowl has a small hole drilled through the bowl on the side, as shown in the photos. That is the one I consider flawed.. The other bowl is unusual in that it seems to have a kind of floral pattern marked on it. I actually did not notice that pattern of dots until I looked at the photos. I am not sure if that pattern was done in order to ready the bowl for painting in the factory, in which case the bowl would date from the 1940’s on, or if someone who owned an older style natural wood bowl thought they might paint it with a floral pattern but never got around to the actual painting. The bowls are in a very used condition. They are survivors. From a nonsmoking household. Condition is Used/Preowned.
