Description: Vintage Miller Falls No. 77A Hand DrillAnother fine example of a great tool that helped build and maintain America.This listing is for a used Miller Falls No. 77A hand drill.The drill was manufactured by Miller Falls from 1948 thru 1964.The overall length of the drill is about 12 1/2” long.The drill is in good working condition and makes an excellent displayer.The drill is a double pinion drill with a die cast frame.The frame retains about 75% of the original black finish with some chips and bare spots.The 3 1/4” drive gear is in good condition and retains about 98% of the original red finish.The 3-jaw chuck works as intended firmly holding bits up to 1/4” and the nickel finish is about 99% with some age fading.The hardwood handle has no cracks, few scratches and retains most of the original finish.The hardwood side handle is solid with some scratches and nicks with most of the original finish remaining.The hardwood crank handle is solid with most of the original finish.The crank handle is nickel plated with some minor oxidized areas.
