Description: ***********FOR PARTS/REPAIR ONLY - The Lemania 2520 (Omega 321) manual wind movement will only run for a few seconds at a time and only when the time is being set. Because the movement does not want to run I'm unable to test the chronograph functions, so assume they don't work. The pushers have a pleasant catch and release feel with no signs of gumminess and the crown winds smoothly. At a minimum a complete overhaul is required.*********** This seldom seen vintage 1960/70's Meylan Decimal three-register chronograph has a near pristine silvery white "T SWISS MADE T" signed dial and the lume, which remains fully intact with the exception of a smidge missing from the dot at 6 o'clock and emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a warm buttermilk hue. In my humble opinion the paddle minute and hour hands add oodles of character. The all stainless steel case with beveled lugs shows honest wear with minor signs of oxidation. The inside of the case back is stamped "ACIER" followed by "INOXYDABLE,""MEYLAN,""STOPWATCH CORP,""SWISS MADE" and "808A 66." The crystal should be replaced as it shows difficult to see cracking. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "MEYLAN STOPWATCH Co" stamped Lemania 2520 (Omega 321) manual wind movement only runs for a few seconds at a time and only when the time is being set. Because the movement does not want to run I'm unable to test the chronograph functions, so assume they don't work. The pushers have a pleasant catch and release feel with no signs of gumminess and the crown winds buttery smooth. As clearly seen in the pictures there is what appears to be a slightly raised and hardened discoloration spot on the center of the crown. At a minimum a complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 33 mm excluding the crown, approximately 36 mm including the crown and approximately 17 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 8.5 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 10.5 mm. The lug to lug distance measures approximately 40 mm. At a minimum a complete overhaul is required. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this watch that time is now. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given. And please study the 24 high magnification pictures carefully, which were taken in natural light and from various angles, as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch. Expedited and insured shipping along with signature confirmation will be provided. Thanks for looking!***********FOR PARTS/REPAIR ONLY - The Lemania 2520 (Omega 321) manual wind movement will only run for a few seconds at a time and only when the time is being set.
