Description: Straight out of 1966, this set of identical twin serving bowls pairs well with blonde furniture and split level houses. The color avocado had disappeared entirely by 1970, not to resurface in nostalgia for 50 years. It's baaaaack! Absolutely pristine at 60 years old. Not so much as a fingerprint has grazed them. The infinitely versatile melamine (why don't they use it anymore?!) is thick and tough as it is beautiful. Solid-core color, cut and break resistant, with stay-cool properties. Cool indeed! Each bowl measures 9.5 x 6 inches. The bottom stamp is just an empty circle, which usually meant that someone had "borrowed" somebody else's patent! Thanks for looking!
