His beard is long and flows out wide which gives the pipe a stable bottom so that it sits without falling over. The marbled designer stem has additional scrolling that adds to its length. For its size the pipe is a comfortable weight. Nice choice for the tobacco pipe smoker who prefers a longer pipe that is not quite as long as a churchwarden pipe. This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
