Vintage McCoy Pottery Clown in Barrel Cookie Jar Pink Bottom 1953 VGC! HTF!

Description: DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Deep Pink Authentic McCoy Pottery Clown in Barrel Cookie Jar. Signed with raised mark "McCoy USA". This design was produced between 1953-1955.The "cold Paint" is missing, but it looks better without it IMHO, or could be easily re-applied. I've had this Cookie Jar for 35 plus Years, and all have enjoyed how whimsical it is! Will make a great cookie Jar, or Display Piece in your McCoy or Vintage Pottery Collection. A Must-have for anyone that loves the Circus and Clowns. Clowns would hide in a barrel at the Rodeo and emerge to distract the Bull so that the Bull and Bucking Bronco Riders could safely exit the ring! SIZE: Measuring ~10.75 or ~11" tall, X ~7" wide across front X ~ 5" deep front to back.WEIGHT: 3 Lbs. 1.32 Oz. NOTE: We will pack extremely well. CONDITION: Very Good Used Vintage Condition. No Chips, No Cracks, NO hairlines. Two minuscule Old flea bites edge above right hand, lower section (see photos # 8, #9). Does have crackle on finish, which is Normal, and some bottom base and inner darkening. This is a really great piece, in great condition, and this color is hard to find and Fantastic!
