Description: Circa 1940's-50's MacGregor Goldsmith G151 Frank McCormick first base mitt.A high quality first base mitt circa the late 1940's to early 1950's. Has soft, smooth and pliable leather throughout. Has all rolled leather piping. The inside lining has fairly light wear with no holes. Comfortably fits my medium size hand. The back of the thumb has light writing and a couple of scratches in the leather (see last photo). Excellent overall condition.Frank McCormick was one of the best hitters in baseball from 1934-48.
