Description: Excellent condition Lodge #3 Cast Iron Skillet, with 3 notch heat ring which would make for a good addition to a #3 collection or as an everyday egg skillet. This skillet was made by the Lodge Manufacturing Company in South Pittsburg, Tennessee in the 1950's. CONDITION: Skillet is in very good condition. Cooking surface shows beautiful factory swirls with only 2 very small isolated spots of micro pitting . Skillet has small wobble at the 1 o'clock position, corrected by 2 index cards. Skillet has no cracks, chips, rust, or repairs. RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been fully restored and carefully cleaned to bare iron using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar.
