Description: This is a 2" diameter Lions International sew on patch. I see no damage on the patch, bright colors, no pulled threads, no tears or cuts. The Lions club was founded in 1917 and today has over 1.4 million members worldwide. It is neither political or religious and focus's on service in their local communities. The word, LIONS is an acronym for Liberty, Intelligence, and Our Nations Safety. I find it interesting that although they raise money for many charitable purposes, the money to run the club locally is paid for by the members of that club and those funds are kept strictly separate from the money that they raise.
