Description: For sale is a good vintage French Limoges porcelain box, signed DC. The box is 2 3/4 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. It has brass rims and hinge, with a flower-shaped clasp. The exterior is painted a mottled light blue, with a floral panel on the top and gilt highlights. The interior has gilt sprigs as well. The piece is hand marked “décor main / [DC] Limoges” in light blue. Condition on the box is fairly good. There is some minor pain loss on the top, darkening of the metal mounts and normal signs of use. A nice little Limoges box.
