Description: The Lighthouse Album Publishers was founded by Paul Koch in 1917, the company was known as Saxony-Anhalt and produced Kabe stamp albums. Koch had to sell Kabe in the 1930’s and founded a new company in Hamburg in 1948 called Lighthouse Album Publishers. Kabe and Lighthouse later established a working partnership to produce and develop stamp books and albums. Lighthouse is a leading supplier of stamp albums and other albums for collectibles. This is a lovely vintage gift for a stamp collector. The album is in very good condition with no damage to the interior (it looks like it is unused), there is a slight break to the front of the cover (please see photo)
