Description: Vintage KitchenAid Hobart 5 Qt. Tin Steel Mixer Bowl for 5 Quart Mixers N-50, Model G and early K5-A 5 Qt. Mixers - BOWL5TTL - EUC Seller Refurbished - Bowl is in excellent used condition. Original genuine Hobart bowl was de-greased, washed, rinsed, polished and sanitized in preparation for this sale. It is ready for immediate food use. Bowl has some over tin drippings near the bottom on the outside from the original factory tin bath. Bowl has not be re-tinned. Bowl has only slight oxidation and nearly all of the original tin plate is intact; remarkable for a bowl of its age. The only tin plate wear is on the inside near the very bottom and the the outside also on the very bottom. There is no rust. The Mixer shown in picture is not part of this listing. You are buying a replacement tin plate steel Hobart 5 quart mixer bowl only. This bowl fits all Hobart H-5, Model G, N50 and early era KitchenAid K5-A, 5 qt. bowl lift style mixers. It was made by Hobart Mfg. Corp. in Troy Ohio during the period 1930 to 1955. This style bowl was the predecessor to the newer style stainless steel bowls. Also, the tin plate over steel bowl is much harder to dent than the newer stainless bowls. If you want a period perfect match mixing bowl to go with your vintage Model H-5, G, N-50 or K5-A, then this bowl is right for you. Ask questions prior to purchase as there are no returns.
