Description: This gorgeous Ivory taffeta wedding gown from the 1950-1960's is in good clean shape for it's age. It has a slightly off the shoulder look with soft tulle and taffeta near the shoulder. Three quarter pointed sleeves, pointed Basque waist in front AND back. It has a longer train on back with gathering and pleating at the back. It buttons all the way down the back. It is delicately decorated with lace, sequins and pearls around the neckline, and around 3 places in the front of the skirt. The sequins are iridescent , showing signs of rainbow hues. This would be really beautiful with a full petticoat underneath. The flaws are: The covered buttons are slightly discolored up near the top of the dress. There is a small half inch of black spot in the front skirt near the floor. I have not tried to clean that. There was a slightly darker line running near that black spot, It is shown in the last photos circled in purple. One of the button loops has been cut. It is missing one button loop or there is 1 extra button. There's a slight tug in the fabric that would need to be hand sewn, 6 buttons from the bottom. This is a truly gorgeous, vintage dress. If you drape the dress, Flat, all the way around it may form a full circle. That is how much gorgeous ivory Taffeta fabric there is. There is approximately 2 inches extra fabric in the seams near the bust, under each arm, Or you could let it out enough for a 36 inch bust. Please message with any questions and take notice of photos, is there no returned on this item. Thank you for your interest!
