The lid depicts a raised pastoral scene with three playful cherubs catching an animal. The gold rimmed sides have raised flower and leaf motifs. Underside stamped with R. Capodimonte with early twentieth century mark. Approximate measurements: Length: 5.25 inch Width: 3.75 inch Height : 2.50 inch Overall excellent condition; one thin chip to gold paint on rim of box (left side) but not very noticeable because lid overlaps - I didn’t notice chip until taking photos with lid removed.
