Description: This is the first American edition (1965) of The Art of Arranging Flowers by Shozo Sato, an absolutely stunning ikebana book filled with photographs and instructions. It still has its original thin protective cover. It’s in quite good condition, though not perfect: -wear and damage to the plastic cover, with tag remnants top right Book itself: -wear spots on the top and bottom of the rear cover -a little bit of staining to the bottom and top page ends (page edges when book is closed) -three little marks on the first Contents page -pages 6 & 7 have tiny stain spots -faint discoloration on page borders -some ink and color rubs on pages across from illustrated pages -pages 128-132 have stain spots at the top.
