This imitation 1946-47 Chevy truck front end was placed on this ambulance. Think about the factory stenciled writing/logos. There certainly was no 911. Back in those days, the large city hospitals across America provided an ambulance. Molded in plastic, it is in the early, EARLY days of that. It shows warpage with the driver front wheel off the ground. The rear doors are missing, but what a tribute to post WWII toys with a new product. Plastic instead of cast metal. All though it is warped, this piece is not broken. It is an incredible display to "Baby Boomer " toys. From a nonsmoker home so no surprise odors upon package arrival.
