This piece tested positive for Sterling Silver This classic HOPI Bolo Tie is hallmarked with the T shaped antelope rattle for the artist maker FLOYD NAMINGHA LOMAKUYVAYA. We believe this Bolo Tie was created circa 1970's. This fine Bolo Tie was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the HOPI overlay tradition and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The Bolo has a BENNETT style fastener that is in good condition and working order. Overall, the sterling silver Bolo plaque measures approx. 2" long x 1 5/8" to 1" wide. The bolo is attached to braided black leather cord that is in good condition - clean, strong and wearable with sterling silver tips. The cord measures approx. 36" long including 1 3/4" decorative silver tips. This HOPI Bolo Tie with cord weighs 27.7 grams - .890 ounce TOTAL.
