DAYTON PATTERN AXE HEADThis axe head is well used, but still has lots of life left in it.AXE HEAD ONLY - it is free of wood.This head measures 7-5/8" across with a 4-5/8" Cutting Edge.It is stamped "HOMESTEAD" on the butt end of one side. The number "4" is stamped on the other side.The edge does not appear to have been filed.There is some minor pitting and some strike marks, but no rust, cracks or breaks. (See Pictures)There is rollover on both sides of the butt end from hammering that could be filed off.This is a heavy duty axe head that is ready to go back to work. Ship to the US ONLY.
