This high frequency driver may have been used in other HITACHI speakers from this production era, but the buyer is responsible for accurately verifying compatibility with their needs. So, please take a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this capable HITACHI tweeter should be yours. *Although the listing is written largely in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical HITACHI 2” cone tweeters are available for purchase at time of this writing. This HITACHI tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. The paper cone is structurally perfect and so is the voice coil dustcap. Plus, the plastic faceplate has no scratches, cracks, or chips. Also, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity (red gasket = positive), and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this HITACHI tweeter looks practically new! Most importantly, it has been fully tested and sounds very strong and clear, with beyond-audibility “sparkle” at a rated 20kHz that equals many dome units. Plus, I measured its DC resistance at 6.9Ω, consistent with an 8 ohm nominal driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 4½” diameter, it stands 1¼”, and the mount holes are spaced 2¾” adjacent / 3⅞” on the diagonal apart, c-t-c.
