Description: The lithographic cover with yellow and black design, as well as the frontispiece was created by Matisse specially for this volume of the art review "VERVE". It is dedicated to the artist's paintings created in Venice between 1944 and 1948. The volume contains numerous reproductions, paintings and drawings on 72 pages. The text is in French. Has its original book cover which is folded on and glued at the corners so I didnt want to take it off but you can see on the spine is some damage. The cover part of the spine has become worn.
