This delightful figurine depicts a mother kangaroo standing boldly upright in a protective pose as she guards her young joey who nestles into her. This charming piece has been finished in a naturalistic grey glaze and each creature is beautifully finished with hand painted facial details. This piece is presented in as found condition with a slither of a chip to the underside base which is not noticeable when the piece is displayed and another smaller sized slither to the top rim of the base which has removed some of the green glaze.
