Description: VINTAGE STERLING CUFFLINKSHANS HANSEN - DENMARK - AS ISFREE SHIPPING!These sterling silver cufflinks were designed by Hans Hansen (1884-1940) in Denmark. Hansen opened his own gold & silver company in 1906, and by the 1920s his firm was producing silver flatware. In 1931 he began designing and producing jewelry. After his death in 1940, his son took over the company and continued designing and producing jewelry. In 1992 the Hans Hansen company joined the well-known Georg Jensen firm.These cufflinks are signed "HaH", one of Hans Hansen's signatures. They are also marked 925 S (sterling) and Denmark. The front of the cufflinks, consisting of 3 round links with a bar through the center, measures about 7/8" by 3/4". The back of the cufflinks, consisting of an oblong piece with a thin line through the center, measures about 3/4" by 3/8". Together they weigh 13.8 grams. The front piece of one of the cufflinks has come loose from its original silver solder and is moveable. In the photos, this cufflink is always on the right side.
