She has six layers of petticoat slips. This doll was made in Portugal by Maria Helena. She is hand crafted and mostly sewn by hand. She is in good clean condition. The red coloration on the forehead, is part of the style of the artist Her face is hand painted. She is not wearing shoes because it represents the wife or daughter of a fisherman. Very nice embroidered flowers on her black apron. Hard to find in this height. Measurements: 11 1/2” Tall Made in Portugal around the 1950s and 60s. .
