Description: Vintage collectible ceramic pottery. This is Hall's 2 quart Covered Casserole in Cadet Blue with a white lid and thick rim from the American company's Royal Rose collection which was introduced in the 1940s. Round white handle in the center of the lid is trimmed in silver as is the top outer edge of the round casserole bowl. The lid has four delicate pink rose decals on its side. Inside of the lid and of the bowl is clean; the top ridge of the bowl does display some staining and the lid has a few tiny pinpricks which appear to be under glaze. Stamp underneath the lid reads "Hall's Superior Quality Kitchenware Made in U.S.A." in gold. This mark was used until 1968. No chips, no cracks, no crazing, no color skips. Strong gloss, Vibrant color. Beautiful decals. Amazing condition for a piece that is 50+ years old. See photos. Bowl measures 8" in diameter and 3" deep without the lid. The covered casserole measures 4.25" tall with the lid. From a smoke free household. Ships USPS Ground Advantage.
