Vintage Halloween Japan Ceramic Skull and Crossbones Decanter and 6 Shots 1950s

Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. What a perfect decanter set for a Halloween party. The decanter is embossed and then painted yellow "Poison". The top of the decanter is a skull with crossbones underneath. It has a cork liner so the top fits tightly. The crossbones are on the top of the bottle. The bottle has diagonal ribs towards the bottom. There are 6 shot glasses that each have a skull and crossbones printed in gold. Also in gold is "Japan" on the bottom of each shot glass. This set is made from redware ceramic. It has a glazed black body. On the bottom of the decanter is a foil label that reads "Hand Painted - Tilso - Japan". The decanter is 10-3/8" tall x 4-1/4" wide x approximately 2-1/2" deep. The shots are 1-3/4" tall with a 1-1/2" diameter at the top and a 1-1/8" diameter at the base. This fun decanter set is from the 1950s. It is hard to find. If this decanter set was used, it was not very much. There are a couple of paint nicks. There are no chips or cracks. It is not crazed.
