Description: Collection of 25 Bing & Grondahl Decorative Blue and White Glazed Porcelain Christmas Plates This group includes the years between 1964-1991 (1980, 1981 and 1984 are not included).See photos for a couple of examples of dynamic decor ideas. Intricate, detailed scenes of Christmas in cobalt blue are displayed on these collectible plates that stem from an age-old Danish folk tradition which began with B&G in 1895. Note: the seller will sweeten the purchase of this collection by paying up to $20 in shipping fees to the interested buyer. • Made in Denmark• Each measures about 7.25" round• Each weighs about 11.625 oz Designers:• Henry Thelander: 1964, 1966-1982• Achton Friis: 1965• Edward Jensen: 1983, 1985-1991 These plates were lovingly displayed and well cared for by a very close family member who was the original owner. They were stored in a china cabinet in a smoke-free, pet-free home. MAKER'S MARKS:> 1964-1969: These plates all have slightly varying maker's marks: Each has the trademark three towers with B&G centered underneath. The word 'KJOBENHAVN" in an upward turned half circle under that. Some have "Denmark" and "Made in Denmark" with "Copenhagen Porcelain Made in Denmark". In this group, only 1969 has a production number. Some have Danish and English. All imprinted in a dark forest green.> 1970-1991: Each has the trademark three towers with B&G in the center of a circle with "Copenhagen Porcelain Made in Denmark". A production number is below the circle and below that, appears the name of the plate's scene in Danish and English. All imprinted in a dark forest green. Condition: These plates are in excellent like-new condition.
