Description: DESK HISTORY This executive office desk was acquired from Sears Roebuck & Company’s corporate office located at the Soto and Olympic Streets business in Los Angeles, CA. The retail/corporate unit opened in 1932. This desk was part of the office furniture requested by the executive officers at that time. In the mid-1970’s after being warehoused for numerous years I was able to get it and enjoy it ever since that time. ………………………. This vintage roll-top desk is a stunning addition to any home study of business office. Crafted with exquisite attention to detail, this desk is a perfect blend of style and functionality. The desk is made of high-quality oak wood and features a classic roll top design. Measuring 54 inches in height, 48 inches in length, and 34 inches in width, this desk is spacious enough to accommodate all your office essentials. …………………………. Check the photos to view the pigment color issue due to sun exposure over the years, with some “Old English Scratch Wood Polish” the pigment should blend. The small upper desktop door is off the hinges although it can be installed back where it belongs. On the back side (wall positioned) there are two drilled holes that were drilled for today's modern-day electronics. The hole is rough and would recommend installing a plastic computer wire plug at clean it up. If placing the desk against a wall I'd leave it as is. The glass on the desktop does is not part of desk.
