Vintage Go Barefoot Made In California Swim Shorts Swimsuit Tiki May Be 36 Or 38

Description: Go Barefoot Inc Made in California. Talon zipper. Guesstimate age circa 1960s (no earlier than late 1950s). My hunch is absolutley no more recent than 1970s but I am thinking earlier than 70s. See the label which some may refer to as a tag. There is some wear/frame to the label. Talon zipper. The zipper needs repair. Although the zipper and the pull is there, it has come “off track”. See pics to understand this description. There are some spots/stains on the inside out side. Uncertain of fabric contents. May be a cotton or blend. Not a stretchy fabric but there is a small area on each side of waist area that is gathered a bit so there is a bit of stretch at waist area. Although I listed these as size 36 in item specifics, I do not see a size. Please read further for explanation. Resting, waist measures 18” from side to side. Pulled taut, goea just a bit over 19”. Therefore, I would estimate size at 36” to 38”. Obviously, the more taut the waist is pulled, the tighter the fit will be. Don’t go buy a guess size. Go by measurements. See pics for laying flat measurements. Could be warm by anyone, depending on your style, if the measurements work for you. Although these shorts were made in California, and my opinion, they have a wonderful Hawaiian/Tiki/aloha look to them. See pics so you can decide whether or not you agree.
