I inherited it. She loved Gnomes. We are having to downsize and must sell many of our fine things. This wonderful books condition is EXCELLENT. The laminate on the DJ (front and back) is wrinkled as I've shown in my photo. This minor wrinkling is in the clear plastic laminate and NOT in the underlying paper dust jacket. I don't think this is unusual as this particular DJ was made with a clear plastic sheet laminated over the paper jacket. Over the years this laminate clear plastic has wrinkled in places - see last two photos. The paper underneath has NOT been effected nor has it been wrinkled. You will see this "wrinkling" on other GNOMES edition as well. The "paper" DJ itself is in fantastic - close to - "LIKE NEW" - condition. No tears/rips/cuts/repairs. - REALLY nice. It's the clear plastic covering (laminate) that is showing wrinkling in places - See Photos. The good news is that this clear plastic LAMINATE has kept the underneath "paper" in really wonderful condition. There is NO inscriptions, soiling, etc. in/outside of this great book. Minor yellowing around outer edges due to age. Everything is tight and BRIGHT as shown. I was told that the actual book covers itself is brown "leather" but it looks brown vinyl to me - ?
