Description: This is a unique set of Gilman & Cta of Sacavem, Portugal dishes that we've owned since our son was born in the late 70s. It was not used that much and survived many moves, including overseas and back. As for flaws, there are various original glaze marks as well as 3 small chips on the underside of the dinner plate. There is a small area of crazing on the dinner plate. The gold rim around each plate is mostly intact as these were never washed in a dishwasher. The colorful art are all of cute little gnomes with animals or insects in various activities and poses, and they do repeat on each piece but the central one is different on each plate. The dinner plate measures approximately 9.33" in diameter and the bowl measures approximately 7" in diameter. The bowl's height is just shy of 2" and the plate's height is just shy of 1.75". This adorable set comes from its original owner and from a smoke-free environment. Any differences in color are due to the available lighting. Please contact me with any questions, thanks!
