Description: Vintage "Black Forest" porcelain tobacco pipe featuring a portrait of King Ludwig II of Bavaria on the pipe head. This pipe was crafted in Germany in the 1940s-1950s. Other materials in the construction of the pipe include birch wood and staghorn. This item is in very good condition with no chips or cracks observed in the porcelain components, though there is some wearing of the birch wood in areas (please see photo). The pipe is in three detachable parts which fit together. Approximate dimensions when the pipe is fully assembled: 24" H x 2.25" W.
