Description: Mosaic Tile Company, Zanesville, OH 1894-1972 Eye-catching vintage tile has a combination of matte and satiny glaze colors on red clay. Nice geometric pattern. MTC was one of the longest-running tile makers in the country and produced a wide range of tiles. In great condition; signed, never set. Measures 6" x 3" x 5/8" thick. This tile was photographed for Norman Karlson's "Encyclopedia of American Art Tiles", Region 3, page 125.
