White porcelain plates with vibrant colors depicting the Dragon and the Phoenix. All are intact with no crazing, cracks, or chips. There are very minor fading or lighter spots on the swirls of some of the plates due to being hand-painted as well as their age. The rim of each plate is designed in the classic Greek pattern "meander" a decorative border constructed from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif. In this case, the Greek key pattern is done in red, green, and yellow. With the Red Dragon, along with his breath swirls, and the Phoenix's vibrant colors, these hand-painted plates are heavier vs fine and lightweight. Made in California.
