Description: This vintage French Sarreguemines Majolica Green Oyster Plate from the 1960s is signed on back and marked France. This sturdy thick ceramic oyster features six wells for oysters and a center condiment well. Its production style is Majolica, and it was manufactured in France during the 1960s. This Oyster Plate has no chips or cracks. It does have a mark in the glaze, it doesn't appear to be a scratch, It appears to be smooth to the touch. Some of the photos where I zoomed in to show the marking on the back have shadows from my lights. The last photo shows this mark pointing to the mark close up so you could see it.
