Description: This is French Lardy's best. It is circa 1970s. The largest set, with the best color combinations. Pieces are nicely weighted and each is beautiful sculpted and scaled nicely with the others.The board pictured is NOT included and would be too small for this substantial set anyway. Recommend you get a board with 2 inch squares. This is a great set for display, or play. You may have a Jaques set (too valuable to use for play), or a bakelite set (too fragile to use for play) or triple weighted plastic (great for speed chess, and with ubiquitous pieces in case one is lost or damaged). Please noteI do not accept returns simply because you change your mind after receipt. Make sure you study the unaltered, unenhanced photos carefully as they are definitive.
