Description: Flying Horse of Gansu, also known as Running Horse Treading on Flying Sparrow among other names was a bronze sculpture from the Han dynasty, 2nd century CE. It was found in Wuwei, Gansu province in 1969 and now is kept in the Gansu Provincial Museum. This replica pays homage to the statue. Previously owned, in very good condition. Originally may have had a wooden platform. This figure stands alone, without a platform. Patina appears rubbed off of tip of tail. Material may be patinated cast iron.
