Description: Please feel free to make an offer. An Nice example of a genuine vintage fairground shooting target. This is the only one I have. They don't come up for sale very often & priced to sell. Made of timber & metal. And fewlayers & years of paint. I believe items of this nature were made in-house by the fairground themselves. Articulated, functional & a great piece of fairground shooting target art. To use or display. It would have formed part of a fairground side stall. It hassix metal flip down targets & a metal surround. It still functions fine if you still wished to use it. Once the targets have been knocked down you would pull a string at the side which would lift a side lever & automatically lift up the targets again. A beautiful, 'folky' relic & a fantastic piece of fairground memorabilia! In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. With lots of wear commensurate with age & obviously in ex-fairground condition. The rear panel & targets have characterrust &obviously the paint is chipped all over with numerous marks where pellets have stuck it. A very nice decorative item with a great look which would suit a lot of types of properties & man caves. It would look great if it was properly lit or even LEDs backlights were fitted inside. The front is approx 18 wide 13 1/2" tall. The wooden back part is 6" deep. It's very heavy & is nearly approaching 6 kg. You're welcome to collect in person as the post is expensive as it's a heavy item. Please study the images as they also form part of the description & please do your own research.
