Description: A beautiful vintage English silver plated (on copper) gallery tray. Perfect for serving afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks - all you need is a butler to carry it into your elegant drawing room! Oval in shape and measuring just under 18 x 11.5 inches. The pierced gallery rail has cutout grab handles at either end and the plateau is beautifully chased with a classic rococo pattern of scrolls and foliage surrounding a blank central cartouche. Solid and weighty. Offered for sale in excellent vintage condition. It sits perfectly flat and the surface shows just the usual minor age spots and very light signs of wear from use and polishing over the years - see photos. I sell a lot of these trays and this is a lovely example that has obviously been well cared for. Freshly cleaned and polished to a bright shine. Questions welcome. Will be very well packed.
