Description: 1930s Sessions Mantel Clock, Made In USA by "The Sessions Clock Co.", Forestville Conn.. This great find is a marvelous piece of living room/ office décor for someone looking for that final special piece. This clock works fine when plugged in. It's electric motor does make minor noise, but nothing too distracting. More hypnotic in fact! And just as it is, unplugged, it makes a great decorative item! It measures: 7 1/2 inches tall x 15 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches deep. It weighs 2lb 2oz. The body is made of layered wood. Great gift for the memorabilia collector of classic clocks and other decorative items. CONDITION PLEASE READ: Please read description above. This clock works FINE when it is plugged it in. The cord is old and has been repaired (taped to another cord) sometime in it's life (see photo). Therefore I would advise having an electrician rewire this/ check over it if you plan on using this clock all the time. One has to push-in the button on its back quite firmly to set the time. Aesthetically this clock shows signs of age and wear as most vintage items do. Examine all the pictures closely. It's wooden body has obvious nicks and marks in it (see pics).
