Description: Vintage Edgeworth Tobacco Tin Circa 1920s The vintage rectangular Edgeworth tobacco tin is circa 1920s. The graphics read Edgeworth Extra High Grade Sliced Pipe Tobacco. Larus & Bro. Co. Richmond, Va. The inside of the lid has a message to the consumer which touts their tobacco as “the best combination from the finest selection of leaf being used” and they “will cheerfully refund money to any dissatisfied customer”. The back of the tin has residue from an excise stamp and a notice advising the company complied with all requirements of the law, etc. It is from Factory No. of the law, etc. It is from Factory No. 45. The tin is in very good vintage condition with some stamp residue and some dirt and scratching on the front lid. My store items are from auctions, garage sales and/or estate sales, generally pre-owned and sold as is. I rarely clean, repair or retouch anything I have in my store though I will always advise when I do so. Descriptions are as accurate as I can make them, and measurements are approximate.
