USA Kerosene lamps were very common during first half of XXth century, when electricity distribution was not widespread to the countryside. There are some models of these lamps, however colored glass lamps are scarce, particularly this beautiful, rare and strong cobalt blue color. This lamp is very exquisite, made of blue glass with an octagonal font and an unusual pattern. The ruffled top glass chimney provided is brand new.Real colored glass. No painted or coated glass.Rare item. This is old stock from a closed factory. Condition: Exactly as pictured. In overall great vintage and working condition. Wicked (brand new wick) Queen Anne No.1 burner by Scovill MFG Co. Made in USA working properly and provided with a ruffled top glass chimney brand new. The base of the lamp has a small air bubble due to old manufacturing processes. No chips, cracks, hairlines or stains. Minimal wear and handling signs consistent to age. Extremely rare piece.
