Description: Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Vintage Dollhouse Lot Here is a wonderful lot of vintage (very nearly antique, really!) 1930s Strombecker and celluloid furnishings- the buffet table is by Kage, while the green flocked sofa and chair (very Art Deco) are by Strombecker, and the rather rare celluloid side tables with faux books are by an unknown manufacturer of the 20s/30s. You also get the little 1920s bisque boy from Japan, retro velvet rug and all the little accessories you see, various ages (little dog, matching floral flowers in pots and side table are modern, and the brass candlesticks are probably Clare Bell).Time for lounging and listening to Mother play Mozart- or that new honkey-tonk on the Victrola! We have seen an unfortunate, but increasingly common, tactic crop up: thin complaints, always accompanied by a request for a partial refund, saying that an item is 'not as described'. When buying something preowned, it's easy for a less than honest buyer to pick a flaw out of the air and attempt to secure a partial refund over imagined or exaggerated 'imperfections'. If someone is looking for a way to get money back, sure, one can always find something, anything at all, despite any seller's carefully written description. So if there is anyone out there who is even considering employing this tactic, please pass us by.
