Description: Lovely Currier & Ives dinner plate featuring The Old Grist Mill in a winter scene. Pretty & quintessential, blue & white colors (these are the guys that manufactured Blue Willow china, after all!). Transfers of scroll & scallop images on the sides. Full maker mark on back. Wonderful to use for the holidays, display with a like-colored grouping, or give as a gift to your favorite vintage collector! The plate measures 10" and is made of ironstone china with an underglaze transfer. Made in the USA by Royal China, this company manufactured dishware with Currier & Ives images from the 1950s until the mid 1980s. There are no chips, dings , cracks or crazing. There are scratch marks on the plate indicating this was used regularly as a dinner plate, as they often were! The marks are only visible upon close inspection.
