Description: A fine miniature portrait convertible brooch & pendant. By Oreste Giovanni Corletto. In 18k yellow gold with a cobalt blue enamel border. The portrait miniature depicts a fine Victorian lady in 3/4 profile. She is adorned with what appear to be 3 small single-cut gemstones (quite possibly diamonds). Marked to the reverse Corletto / K18 / Italy. (Miniature not observed outside of its frame) Simply a lovely convertible pendant/brooch by Corletto! Date:Mid-20th Century Overall Condition:It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details:There are some fine and light scratches particularly to the top ring of the frame, some wear at the edges of the painted miniature, some scratches and indentations to the reverse. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Fineness:Marked 18k for gold fineness.
