Description: Up for your consideration Vintage Color Print "Cooking With Jazz" in New Orleans by Leo Meiersdorff. Visible print size 6" X 4½", mat size 10½ X 8¾". Internationally famous - uniquely New Orleans Leo Meiersdorff - "Internationally famous - uniquely New Orleans"In a world where imitation has always been the most sincere form of flattery. Leo is often copied but never duplicated. His jazz and culinary paintings and drawings are his best known works because they have received the greatest world-wide attention and distribution. After years of study and experimentation, he has mastered his craft. Leo has flashes of inspiration which he immediately captures on paper. If not satisfied, he may destroy the entire sheet but he will seldom rework his lines of colors. A native of Berlin, Germany, Leo derives most of his inspiration from the people, music, food and ambience of New Orleans' French Quarter where he resided for more than a decade. Leo Meiersdorff's work is extensively used by the television and movie industries. As a graphic artist and art director, he has worked on major network productions. Since 1974 he has been voting member (Grammy Awards) of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and has designed numerous album covers for leading jazz musicians.
