Description: This vintage Coach Dinky bag is a must-have for any fashion-forward woman. The black leather exterior and brass hardware make it a timeless piece that can be dressed up or down. The bag measures 9" in width, 5" in height, and 1.5" in depth, with a shoulder/crossbody strap that has a 20" drop. **A note about the age of the bag - my research tells me that this bag is from the 1970’s, based on the serial number. The numbers back then were in the same format as this bag and my understanding is at that time, they were not given a serial number to identify a specific bag, but rather each bag was given its own number and then you could mail in a form to register it. It also does not include a hanging “Coach” tag, but those were not added until 1972, so it may not have come with one originally. I’m calling this a Dinky bag based on appearance, but I don’t know if that’s what it would’ve been called in the 70’s. Many of the items I sell are used, vintage, and imperfect.
