Featuring the text 'CSMJ OMS Vysoke Myto', it would have been worn by members of the CSMJ or 'CzechoSlovak Mysliveske Jednota' or 'Czechoslovak Hunters Association'. The badge face features a stag deer and pine branch. Historical Background In Czechoslovakia and in much of middle Europe; hunting and forestry have a rich tradition stretching back hundreds of years. Traditional hunting uniforms are still worn and age old customs observed. During the hunting season it is common to see hunting parties gathering in the early morning preparing for the daily hunt.
