Description: For your consideration is this vintage Mexican Ciasa tile backsplash or wall art mosaic. It is made up of 56 individual 4 3/8" square tiles and measures 30 1/2 x 35" overall. It features a pair of painted underglaze flamenco dancers surrounded by a colorful geometric border. It is signed lower right by the artist R. Moya. Each tile is signed and the dancer scene tiles are all numbered for easy reassembly. Not sure what this was intended to be, but there is no glue residue on the back and no grout residue on the edges. One scenic tile is cracked and repaired. It is the next to the last tile, lower right, next to the signature tile. See photo 12. There are 4 corner chips of note. One about 3/8 x 3/8", 2nd tile in lower left, shown in photo 13. The other ones are shown in photos 14 & 15 and consist of 2 very small corner chips and about a 3/4" long color fleck. There are other very small minor edge chips as you might expect to find on something of this age, but nothing that detracts. A very colorful, striking and unusual example of ceramic tile art. Please study the photos and ask any questions you may have. Quoted shipping is to the lower 48 states and includes insurance. Thanks.
