Description: Listed are a total of three Chubu China decorative porcelain table top or wall plates. The two larger plates have the signature of the artist (J. Miyako). The outer parts of the plates have a pierced design and the plates have a scalloped outer rim. A design of pine cones and pine needle branches are located in the center of the plates. The colors include green for the pine needles and various shades of brown for the branches. Gold enamel was used for the pine cones, as highlights for the pine needles, and as decoration along the outer rim and the pierced areas of the plate. The gold enamel imparts a luster quality to the plates. On the back of each of the plates is the Chubu China and Made in Japan stamp mark. The two larger plates measure approximately 8.5 inches in diameter and 7/8 inches in height. Weight for each of the two larger plates is approximately 0.7 pounds. The smaller plate measures approximately 6.25 inches in diameter and 7/8 inches in height. Weight for the smaller plate is approximately 0.3 pounds. The two larger plates have three holes built into the back of the plates to allow the plates to be hung on a wall. All three plates have a wire hangar on the back (the smaller plate has the wire located through the pierced portion of the plate) allowing the plates to be hung on a wall. The plates are designed to be hung on a wall or to sit flat on a table. Please see all 12 photographs as they are part of the description. The three plates are in very good condition. There are no breaks, chips, repairs, or crazing. The glaze is bright and shiny, and the porcelain plates display very well as you can tell from the photographs.
